Milestone XProtect as the operational backbone

XProtect provides a central platform for cameras, sensors, analytics and distributed sites. Its open-platform architecture allows systems to be designed around the operational requirement rather than constrained to a single hardware manufacturer. That flexibility supports phased expansion, integration with specialist devices and applications, and a longer useful life for the overall solution. Panoptech brings the network, compute, storage, security and operational disciplines required to make that flexibility dependable in practice. BriefCam turns video into usable information

BriefCam extends the video platform with rapid review, search, alerting and quantitative insight. Instead of treating recorded footage as a passive archive, operators can use metadata and analytics to locate relevant activity, understand patterns and build a clearer picture across cameras and time. The value is not analytics for its own sake. It is the ability to reduce review effort, improve consistency and make better use of video that has already been captured. Panoptech integrates BriefCam into the wider platform so processing capacity, storage, network performance and operator workflows are considered together.

Engineered end to end

Our work covers camera integration, ONVIF and RTSP interoperability, recording and retention, resilient infrastructure, secure connectivity, identity and permissions, monitoring, system integration and lifecycle support. Where the standard platform does not fully meet the requirement, we can develop plugins, interfaces and supporting applications that extend it without losing the benefits of a maintainable core product.
